SAMREC Training Academy
SAMREC has developed several training courses, which can be hosted either online or in person. Our flagship course is our Safety Officer course, which comprises 12 of our other courses such as Health & Safety Representative, Accident Investigation, and Legal Liability, to name a few. Our training is SAIOSH registered.
In addition, SAMREC realises that short procedure training is more practical a lot of the time. We have therefore developed a number of short safe work procedure training sessions to help counteract hazards, which can also be presented onsite or online. Our safe work procedures include but are not limited to, Basic Hygiene For Food Handlers and Safety For Operators Of Machinery.
Our monthly clients receive a limited amount of the above mentioned training courses included in their fee, whether online or on site. This means that not only does it save them time, money & effort but a large portion of our clients' monthly payments can be claimed back from the TAX Man.
Monthly Physical Inspections as well as Monthly Audit Reports by a qualified SAMREC Consultant.
Every month SAMREC conducts an inspection of the site, noting all deviations found and working with the company to work on resolutions for the deviations that ensure legal compliance as well as fits into the company’s resources. Auditing is essential for any site to maintain an effective Health & Safety System. SAMREC’s focus is on assisting the client to make the process as easy as possible. SAMREC takes the pressure off the company by putting an entire team behind them. You have access to information and our consultants are always a phone call away if you need advice. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
A Health & Safety Plan.
Each construction client receives a Health & Safety Plan specific to the construction site. SAMREC offers guidance and assistance in implementing the Safety Plan on site.
Assistance with Accident Investigations.
Unfortunately, even when every care is taken, accidents do happen and when they happen they are often overwhelming and take up a large amount of time to resolve. We firstly train an onsite Accident Investigator and ensure they have all needed documentation to deal with a situation immediately but SAMREC assists with filling in the forms, conducting interviews, investigating the cause, putting control measures in place to prevent accidents happening again and liaising with the Department of Labour.
